Blunk – Time for recreation

Take the opportunity and conquer the Blunk around by bicycle. The varied landscape on the edge of the Holstein Switzerland enchanted with a wealth of idyllic lakes, scattered woods and typical for Schleswig-Holstein, the “Knicks".

As a demarcation of the fields planted walls were built to protect the crops from the frequent winds. Today, the Knicks also serve as home to many small animals and a breeding ground of many birds and are protected. Around Blunk, there are many well-marked bicycle routes.

Old railway
The old railway embankment begins in Bad Segeberg approximately Möbel Kraft, runs parallel to the Ziegelstraße, passes Ihlsee and Groß Rönnau and leads directly to our inn in Blunk. The course is ideal for cycling or walking. Take a rest in the “old station".

The lake Blunk
Recreation at the lake of Blunk. Fishing licenses are available in our restaurant. Also, an idyllic beach location invites you to relax.

On the nearby Trave, on the Lake Plön and the Schwentine it can be excellent for canoeing. Some boat rentals will bring the boats to the insertion point.
